One concrete vision. One real place. One project beginning to take shape.

Katari publishes only initiatives whose status can be documented. Today the visible priority is Escuela Laboratorio Verde Belén: education, technology, community and territory to expand opportunity from Belén de los Andaquíes.

What each status means

Transparency from the design stage

In development

The initiative is being structured. A space, documentation or line of work may exist, but results are not attributed until they are verified.

In implementation

An intervention moves to this status when it has a validated design, responsibilities, implementation conditions and evidence of delivered activity.

With published evidence

Results are communicated when records and sources are sufficient to support concrete indicators, outputs, outcomes or learning.

Institutional mandate

Areas in which Katari can formulate projects

Social, humanitarian, environmental, infrastructure and WASH define the institutional scope. They do not by themselves represent active programs.

Social

Social needs, development and capacity strengthening.

Humanitarian

Assistance and response in situations of vulnerability, crisis, displacement, emergency or exclusion.

Environmental

Sustainability, environmental protection and responsible resource management.

Infrastructure

Solutions connected to well-being and sustainable development.

WASH

Water, sanitation and hygiene in vulnerable contexts and populations.

Cross-cutting approaches

Participation, capacities, inclusion, cooperation, technical rigor and sustainability.

Project cycle

How an initiative moves from an idea to evidence

  1. 01

    Identify and document

Define need, context, community or population, scope and evidence available.

  2. 02

    Design and validate

Set objectives, activities, responsibilities, budget, risks and indicators.

  3. 03

    Implement

Deliver only what has appropriate conditions, partnerships and resources for the project.

  4. 04

    Measure and report

Connect activity, evidence, results, learning and reporting without confusing volume with impact.
